What a dot is

An always-on agent inside ChatGPT with its own cloud computer and browser. You reach it in ChatGPT on desktop, web or mobile, or in Slack and Teams, and it can message you when it needs a decision.

Who can have one

Dots are rolling out to ChatGPT Pro and Business Premium plans — not Plus. Your first dot is included in either plan. We will confirm your plan qualifies before you come in.

Where setup happens

In the ChatGPT desktop app or a desktop browser. After the first setup you can message it from the ChatGPT phone app too.

Connect the apps it should be able to see, and only those

Write Custom Rules: what it may do alone, what needs your approval, what it may never do

Give it one real recurring job and watch it run once together

Decide whether it may ever use your laptop, or stays on its own computer

The line it will not cross. Some actions always stay with you — changing a password is one — and anything that could affect your accounts goes through approval. We set those rules with you, not for you.

Before you book

Can you set up OpenAI Dots for me if I am not a business?

Yes. Most people who bring us Dots are individuals with one account and one life to run. No company, no technical background and no prior AI experience required.

What does OpenAI Dots setup cost?

Setup on your own account is Professional Services at $160 per hour, paid after — never before, never a deposit. If you would rather learn to do it yourself with us beside you, book an Educational session at $60 per hour instead. Your OpenAI subscription is separate and paid to OpenAI. We also run occasional flat-price setup deals at fluency.ai-chs.com.

Do you do this over Zoom?

No. Every appointment is face to face at 405 Jessen Ln, Suite E in Charleston. You sit beside the engineer, on your own laptop, in your own accounts.

Will you need my password?

Never. You press every button: every sign-in, every allow, every approval. We never take the keyboard and never ask for a password.

What should I bring?

The laptop you will use Dots on, the ability to sign in to your OpenAI account, and one job you would like it to take off your plate.
